Session 1: Prepare for Take off!
Strength, balance, and core stabilisation
A workshop designed to build the fundamental foundational strength and engagement necessary to go upside down. Understand the difference between core strength and core stability, and how to build both whilst applying it to your inversions and arm balances. Learn how to control the scapulae and build straight arm scapular strength, the most important thing when it comes to being strong in your inversion practice.

7 May (Saturday): 10:00am-1:00pm
Session 2: Flexibility Fundamentals
This workshop is designed for anyone working on becoming more flexible, especially if you are not a naturally flexible person. We explore different approaches to include dynamic stretching, PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) and Yin-style stretching. We will also talk about how and why the body responds to stretching from an anatomical viewpoint, and how to safely bypass these restrictions.

7 May (Saturday): 2:00pm-5:00pm
Session 3: Handstand and Arm Balance
Everything you need to know about doing a headstand, forearm stand and handstand. You will learn how to build strength, overcome fear and get upside down; using walls, a partner, and eventually a freestanding handstand. We will also learn several different arm balances. Understand the foundations to create a solid base and balance on two hands!

8 May (Sunday): 10:00am-1:00pm
Session 4: Inverting the Backbend
Take your backbend inverted. We will learn how to open and strengthen the body while deepening our backbends into several different inversions. Exploring scorpion, forearm scorpion, hollowbacks, forearm hollowbacks and all their variations.

8 May (Sunday): 2:00pm-4:30pm
Session 5: Beyond Balance Master Inversion Class
A playfully strong Vinyasa class designed to take you on to the arms and upside down. Handstands, forearm stands, headstands and arm balances become the flow as we fly through fun transitions and sequences.
